High-Low Dress

Here is the dress that I was telling everyone about. I found it at Walmart and I just love it! Very summery and on trend with the high-low element.

I got lucky, when I was taking the pictures the sun decided to come out and play for a little bit. :)

Hope everyone has a great day! :)

Repeat::

I heard this song in a commercial and since then I just cant get enough of it.

I know yesterday I blabbed on about unexpected finds at Walmart. As usual I was so excited to share one piece of the outfit with you I completely forgot to share my other wonderfully unexpected find…. Drum roll please. The maxi skirt. I found it at Old Navy and I just absolutely fell in love with it that I couldn't just walk away with one color. So I had to get 2, the black one I showcased yesterday and this outstanding cobalt blue. They also sold it in a grey but I wasn't feeling that color on me.

When I put together this outfit, I just felt like it completely encompassed a fun summer day. Luckily it was a perfectly sunny day when I wore so it only enhanced the outfit  and my mood. :)

Do you have any fun summer finds? :)

Unexpected Find::

I don’t know about you, but I’m not a huge Walmart clothes buyer but recently I have been finding some items there that I just cant get enough of. For example I found a pair of flared (my favorite kind) of jeans, I just cant stop wearing them. Also I found a wonderful dress. (pictures of these to come soon.)

 In todays post I will be showcasing a lovely neon pink top that I found at Walmart. I just love it. I think it'll be perfect for summer. Especially with my wonderfully summery bronzed skin and sun kissed hair. Its gonna look fab!

The flamingo wanted some camera action too

Have you found any unexpected finds lately?

Go to outfit ?

I wasn’t quite sure what to wear today. So I did my somewhat go to outfit. The signature pair of jeans, a nice billowy top, and the staple cardigan. I guess this look could be considered the laundry day outfit.

(A few minutes pass) Now that I think about it, it has been extra muggy out lately.  Why I picked jeans is still unknown. Add the fact that I brought a cardigan with me *sigh* just a mystery. Looking back as I write this, (mind you I’m sitting in these clothes, and I can change out of them at any time). I don’t think this was the smartest clothing decision I could have made.

Any who, I'm wearing this outfit for better or worse.
I think this ensemble would be better suited during the Fall months. What do you think?

What is your "Laundry Day" outfit?

Work Work Work

I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have a summer job. For the past couple of summers I have been working at the same place. Their clothing rule has always been changing when I first worked there It was you could wear whatever color top you wanted but your shoes and plants had to be black. Then it was you could wear whatever color top as long as you have something black over it (like a sweater). Then it was you could only wear black nothing else. Well this summer they are back to the 90% black rule. You can wear a colored top as long as there’s something black over it.

Since I have been there so long and the rules are always changing. I found it easier to wear all black and I could  add a pop of something cute (preferably with color). J

This top has a cute bow at the collar of the shirt, oh and I almost forgot my POP of color. It just happens to be a very attractive teal watch . J

sequences on the shoes, add a slight shine to the lower half
of the outfit J

What was your favorite summer job?
